Position Finance Manager (Kobe Head Office)
Location Kobe Headquarters (2 minutes’ walk from Medical Center Station)
Background of the Position This opening follows the departure of the previous manager, but it is far more than a backfill position. At a time when the company is further strengthening its financial governance and management platform, we are looking for a finance leader who can play a central role in supporting sustainable business.

This role offers the opportunity to go beyond managing day-to-day finance operations. You will help shape a stronger finance function, provide meaningful insights for business decisions, and work closely with both local leadership and global division headquarters.

Key Accountabilities As a Finance Manager, you will oversee financial and accounting operations as well as team management.

• Provide transparent, accurate, relevant, and timely financial information to leadership
• Ensure strong financial governance, controls, and compliance
• Drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance management
Essential Duties and Responsibilities 【Financial Advisor】
• Serve as the primary financial advisor to CEO & Management
• Keep management informed of business performance and provide information on all financial matters
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and assist leadership with course-corrective actions

【Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis】
• Lead closing, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of financial data of the Company

【Financial Advisor】
• Serve as the primary financial advisor to CEO & Management
• Keep management informed of business performance and provide information on all financial matters
• Identify financial risks and opportunities and assist leadership with course-corrective actions

【Financial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis】
• Lead closing, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes
• Ensure accuracy, reliability, and consistency of financial data of the Company

【Internal Controls, Audit & Compliance】
• Ensure effective internal controls on financial data
• Conduct periodic self-audits to ensure integrity of financial data
• Coordinate and serve as primary contact for external auditors
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements
• Ensure appropriate insurance coverage and finance risk management practices are in place

【Process Improvement & Systems】
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of financial processes
• Promote processes revision of to reduce transaction costs and finance activity complexity
Skills needed 【Mandatory】
• Experience in accounting and/or finance in a corporate environment
• Team management experience
• English Speaking & Writing

【Preferred】
• Experience with IFRS reporting
• Experience in a multinational or foreign-affiliated company
Working hours 9:00 – 17:00 (7 hours/day, flexible working hours system available)

Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be determined in consideration of the candidate’s experience, skills, and prior compensation.
• Bonus: 3 times per year (approx. 7 months in total, based on performance)
• Salary review: once per year
